Room Hire - Maldon Meeting House
Children’s Room (Maximum 15 people)
The small room upstairs can seat fifteen people comfortably. It has a table,
chairs, some easy chairs and bean bags. It also has a separate kitchenette and
toilet en suite. It is suitable for committee meetings, discussion groups or
similar functions.
Single Use Rent: £22.00 per five-hour session.
Continuous Bookings Rent: £18.00 per five-hour session.
The Main Hall (Maximum 80 people)
The Hall can seat 80 people. There are 9 folding tables which can seat six
people at each. It can be used for social gatherings, exhibitions and other
events. Furniture can be arranged to suit your own needs. Please return the chairs.

The Meeting Room (Maximum 120 people)
The Meeting Room can seat about 120 people on comfortable wooden
benches in a square or parallel arrangement. It has a peaceful ambience and is
suitable for formal meetings, recitals or slide shows.
Both Main Hall and Meeting Room
Single Use Rent: £60.00 per five-hour session per room.
Continuous Bookings Rent: £50.00 per five-hour session per room.
Longer bookings or bookings for more than one room; rent payment
determined by the Bookings Clerk where the above is a guide.

Butt Lane is a turning off High Street on north side. Bus: 31, 31C, 31X from Chelmsford. Stations: Witham, 6 miles; Chelmsford, 11 miles. The car park is opposite the meeting house. Five minutes walk from the nearest bus stop in High Street.
